Loop any part of a YouTube lesson
Web Looper is a free practice tool for guitar, bass, and keys. Paste a YouTube link, set A and B around the passage you're learning, and it repeats until you have it.
- Load a video. Search on YouTube or paste a link. No account or download needed.
- Set A and B. Mark the start and end of a riff, solo, or chord change, then turn looping on.
- Slow it down. Pick a speed from 0.25× to 2×, where the video allows it, and speed back up as you get it.
- Mark the song. Add named markers like Intro, Verse, or Solo, and click one to jump there.
- Save it to Jam Rig (coming with the app). The video, your A and B points, the speed, and your notes go into Practice mode with the song, so the loop is one click away next time.
Is it free?
Yes. It runs in your browser with no account. Recent videos and markers are saved in this browser.
Does it download YouTube videos?
No. Videos play in the official YouTube player. The looper only controls playback and keeps your timestamps.
Why won't a video load?
Some creators turn off playback on other websites. Open those videos on YouTube instead.
How does it work with Jam Rig?
When the Jam Rig desktop app is available, Save to Jam Rig adds the loop to a song in Practice mode. Choose the song, and Jam Rig saves the video, your A and B points, playback speed, and notes with it. Your loop settings stay with the song, ready to reopen next time you practice.
