Jam Rig and getjamrig.com are operated by Michael Jenkins ("Jam Rig", "we", "us"). These terms apply when you use the website, its free browser tools, or buy Jam Rig. The desktop software is covered by the End User License Agreement, refunds by the Refund Policy, and personal information by the Privacy Notice.
By using the website you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.
Using the website and free tools
You may use the website, Jam Beats, and the Web Looper for your own music making and practice. Please don't:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights while using them;
- interfere with the website, overload it, or try to get around its security;
- copy the website or tools in bulk, or present them as your own;
- use the Web Looper to break YouTube's terms. It plays videos in YouTube's own player and never downloads them.
Beats and the Web Looper save your work in your browser. Clearing your browser data deletes it, so keep backups of anything important.
Buying Jam Rig
Purchases are handled by our reseller and merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy processes your payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipt and license key. Their buyer terms also apply to the transaction. Prices are shown in USD; the price you pay is the one shown at checkout. Launch pricing may end or change at any time, without affecting past purchases.
Product information
We describe Jam Rig as accurately as we can, but features may change between versions. Third-party plugins, audio interfaces, and USB amps vary, so we can't guarantee that every product works with Jam Rig. Use the free trial to check the gear and plugins you rely on before you buy.
Intellectual property
The Jam Rig name, logo, website, text, screenshots, and software belong to us. Other product names, such as plugin and amplifier brands, are trademarks of their owners. Mentioning them describes compatibility and doesn't mean they endorse Jam Rig.
Links to other services
The website links to services we don't control, including YouTube, Lemon Squeezy, and social networks. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
Disclaimer
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the website and free tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, and may change or be unavailable at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from the website or free tools. Our total liability for any claim about the website is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if greater. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, and disputes will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Oregon. If you are a consumer, you also keep any protection given by the laws of the country where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Jam Rig changes. We'll change the effective date at the top of this page, and the version shown here applies from that date.
